🎯 Objective

Digitalization touches nearly every aspect of life, yet remains difficult for many to understand or engage with. The Stadtlabor project aimed to change that by creating a permanent, central, and interactive space in the city of Darmstadt where residents could explore, learn about, and participate in ongoing smart city and digitalization initiatives.

🛠 Responsibilities

• Supported the creation of a centrally located experience center for presenting digital city projects to the public.
• Helped establish a living lab to promote digital skill-building and civic engagement across diverse community groups.
• Encouraged citizen participation by integrating feedback mechanisms and involving residents in co-shaping the future of smart city solutions.
• Contributed to the design and presentation of Stadtlabor for active interaction and visibility in Darmstadt.

🌍 Outcome

The project contributed to building an inclusive and transparent smart city ecosystem in Darmstadt by enabling dialogue, education, and participation through a tangible and engaging space for digital innovation.
